Summary

Cabbage Tree Basin is located within a national park where pollution in to the basin is minimal. Brief periods of anoxia may occur in the bottom water after floods or with thermal stratification. Hypoxia is periodic or seasonal and has caused mortality of fauna (annual recolonization).
